Returns & Exchanges

Our commitment is to deliver the utmost quality in our products, reducing the necessity for returns or exchanges and ensuring your complete satisfaction. However, we understand that challenges can occasionally arise.

 Conditions for Returning a Product:

If a customer wishes to return a product, please take note of the following conditions:

  1. Cost of Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for covering the cost of shipping the product back to Sashastrends.

  2. Import Duties/taxes: We will not issue a refund for the original delivery charges or import/duty tax relating to the returned product(s). 

  3. Restocking Fee: A restocking fee will be applicable, which will be determined as either 5% of the product's purchase price or $10, depending on which amount is higher.

In case there is a defect in the silver articles/ jewelry, our team will conduct a comprehensive quality check to confirm the issue. If a defect is indeed identified, we will promptly refund the cost of the product along with the shipping charges to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Jewelry

 Here are the list of issues not considered defects in jewelry:

  1. Minor Surface Scratches: Sterling silver can develop minor surface scratches over time due to wear and tear. These are often considered normal and can be polished out with proper care.
  2. Patina or Tarnish: Sterling silver naturally develops a patina or tarnish over time when exposed to air. This darkening can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth or solution and is not considered a defect.
  3. Slight Variations in Texture: Handcrafted sterling silver jewelry may have slight variations in texture, which add to its unique character and are not defects.
  4. Jem stone small Inclusions: Tiny inclusions or imperfections in gemstones or the silver itself are typically not considered defects unless they significantly affect the overall appearance or structural integrity of the piece.
  5. Oxidation: Some silver jewelry designs intentionally use oxidation to create contrast and depth. This is a deliberate design choice and not a defect.
  6. Pearl Surface Irregularities: Small surface blemishes, such as tiny pits or dimples, are common in pearls. Pearls can have variations in luster or shine due to differences in the layers of nacre (mother-of-pearl) that have formed around the nucleus.

 Here are the list of issues NOT considered defects in silver articles:

  1. OxidationSome silver articles intentionally use oxidation to create contrast and depth in design elements. This is a deliberate design choice and not a defect.
  2. Minor Surface Scratches: Sterling silver can develop minor surface scratches over time due to wear and tear. These are often considered normal and can be polished out or minimized with care.
  3. Handmade Features: If an item is handmade, it may have minor irregularities or asymmetries, which are part of its artisanal charm and not considered defects.
  4. Patina or Tarnish: Sterling silver naturally develops a patina or tarnish over time when exposed to air. This darkening is a normal occurrence and can be polished out with proper care. Some people even prefer the patina as it adds character to the silver.
  5. Weight and measurements: The weight and measurement stated are approximate, with the possibility of minor variations, which are not considered defects.

The following ARE considered defects in jewelry:

  1. Loose or Missing Stones: Gemstones that are not securely set or are missing altogether.
  2. Bent or Misshapen: Jewelry that has lost its intended shape or form due to damage or improper handling.
  3. Defective Clasps or Closures: Clasps, closures, or fasteners that do not function correctly or securely.

The following ARE considered defects in Silver articles:

  1. Bent or Misshapen: Silver articles that have lost their intended shape or form due to damage or improper handling
  2. Loose or Missing Components: Loose or missing parts, such as handles, lids, or embellishments, that are supposed to be securely attached to the article.

Our Return/Exchange Procedure

You have the option to either receive store credit or exchange your item for a product of equal or higher value.

If you wish to initiate a return, please send us an email at info@sashastrends.com detailing your concerns within 3 days of receiving the product.

Once we receive your request and confirm your intent to proceed with the return, please ensure the products are shipped back to us within 7 days of receiving your order. If you have any questions or require clarification regarding the return process, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please note that for international shipments, all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, including customs fees associated with the return.

Items falling into the following categories cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled:

  1. Custom, Made to Order, or Personalized Orders: Products that are specially crafted or customized based on customers preferences.

  2. Previously Exchanged Items: Items that have already undergone an exchange within the same order. Exchange or return is permitted only once per order.

  3. Discounted Items/Sale Items: This includes products purchased during a site-wide sale or any other discounted promotion. (Note that this exclusion does not apply to items acquired using an discount coupon or Initial Sign-up discount.)
